Camera Grins

I'm the girl who's always behind the camera,

the one who sees everything but isn't seen.

I'm the girl that you look right through.

I'm the girl that fell hard for you,

the one the cameras want.

I'm the girl you know of,

but nothing about.

I'm the girl that takes the pictures,

that knows the difference

between real smiles,

and camera grins.

Maybe one day, you'll wise up

and trade your camera grin

for a real one,

Once you see past the lens.
